To support traffic flow, please print your region's sign and display in your car's window upon arrival. This will help us guide you quickly to your campsite.

General Camp Information
​​​
Bump In:
Gates will be open from 5pm. Once unloaded please move trailers and cars to the off site car park marked on the map.
Carpark:
Our carpark is across the road opposite the Park on Hearn Road please exit site and park in carpark. Trailers cannot remain on campsites and must be locked when stored in the car park.
Sign In:
Please designate a Leader to attend Admin to check all youth and Leaders on site between 6-11pm. All Leaders must attend a meeting Friday at 9:30pm at the Bouldering Centre (we of course understand you may need to leave a Leader with your Joeys and Cubs but please as many as possible especially if allocated to Activities)
Saturday Activities:
If your youths activities require specific clothing or equipment it will be available on our website Monday here on this page. Bus times and muster times will be circulated by Wednesday October 15. Our Bus stop is in the main carpark next to The Lodge.

Sunday Activities:
We have many amazing activities and Scout teams running sessions across the site on Sunday. A full list and map of these activities will be available at the Leader meeting on Friday.
Sunday activities will run from 9:00am to 12:00 noon. Some activities will be water-based, so please remind youth to pack clothes and shoes suitable for getting wet.
Leader Activity Assistance Saturday and Sunday:
These weekends wouldn’t be possible without amazing Leaders like you!
We’ll be sending an email on Monday to those who haven’t yet selected an activity to assist with. In the meantime, please check among your Leaders to make sure:

Your youth are supported at a campsite level.

You have enough Leaders available to accompany our younger youth on their off-site activities.
-
You can, if possible, provide at least one Leader to help support an activity on or off-site.
Your help makes all the difference - thank you for everything you do to make the weekend a success.

Leader, Service Venturer and Service Rover Allocation:
Leaders assigned to activities should arrive 20 minutes before the scheduled start time unless otherwise informed. Off-site activities require punctual arrival for bus transport.
Parking and Vehicle Guidelines​

Cars must be parked in designated off site carpark by 11pm to avoid being towed by Police Scouters. Our carpark in on the other side of Hearn Road opposite Bay Park.

Trailers cannot remain on Unit sites and must be stored in the carpark securely. Please remember that Scouts Victoria's insurance policy states that trailer locks must be fitted when the trailer are being stored.

Campfires and Fire Safety

Campfires are permitted, but you must bring a off ground fire drum. Fires are not allowed to be lit on the ground.

Additionally, each campfire must have two methods of extinguishing e.g. an extinguisher and a sand bucket.

Code of Conduct
Please see our camp Code of Conduct here please make sure you are familiar with it. All adults are of course to adhere to the Scouts Victoria Adult Code of Conduct.

Rubbish Collection
There will be a rubbish pen is each Region site for you to dispose of your rubbish. Please remember that last rubbish collection will be 11am Sunday morning and that all rubbish accumulated after that must be brought home with you.
Sunday Departure Information - Bump Out
Final parade will commence at 2pm on the oval with the camp officially closing at approximately 2:30pm.
To assist Units with packing up, trailers only will be permitted to move onto the campsites from 12:30 PM, once approval has been given by the EMC via the WhatsApp group.

Please note that Bay Park remains a closed site until the conclusion of the Closing Parade meaning that only registered Adult Supporters or Scout Victoria Members are permitted on-site during this time. Anyone assisting must sign in at Admin and be a member of Scouts Victoria.

Vehicle Access:
General vehicle access will reopen at approximately 3:00 PM, or as directed by the EMC.

For everyone’s safety, please:
• Follow the instructions of the Police Scouters.
• Drive at walking pace.
• Observe one-way road directions at all times.
Signing Out
All camp members will be automatically signed off camp at the conclusion of the final parade. Therefore, you do not need to sign out at Admin unless you are leaving before 2pm.
Anyone leaving site prior to closing parade MUST sign out at admin prior to departure.
