Program
Boost 2024 is a unique choose-your-adventure camp where participants can personalise their experience by selecting the activities they wish to participate in. While most activities are included, some require an additional charge and certain activities also require a minimum Outdoor Adventure Skill (OAS) Stage Progression to participate.
Payment for your activity will be added at the end of your online application form. Please select these activities carefully, as some may fill up quicker than others. If you change your mind, we may have limited ability to switch you to another activity.
PLEASE ONLY SELECT ONE OPTION FOR THE ACTIVITIES FOR THE SATURDAY, BOOST WILL BE ARRANGING ACTIVITIES FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS ON THE SUNDAY.
Friday, Oct 18
- Check-in will be open from 6:30pm to 11pm.
- Gates will open at 5:30pm on Friday, October 18. Cars will be permitted to drive to your campsite for unloading. Police Scouters will direct traffic flow please follow arrows. We hope this information makes your arrival smooth and hassle-free.
Saturday, Oct 19
- Buses will begin departing from 8am (refer to your ID card for your schedule).
- Everyone should return to the campsite by 6pm.
- Campfire at 7:30pm for approx. one hour at the Camp fire circle, followed by a movie.
Sunday, Oct 20
-Activities will take place from 9am to 12noon.
-Final parade will commence at 2pm on the Bay Park Oval
-Camp will officially close at 2:30pm.
-Cars should be back on-site at approximately 3pm or as advised.

Joey Scout & Cub Scout Suitable Activities
Although activities is based on the working Outdoor Adventure Skills Stages, below is a suggested list of activities that is designed especially with Joey and Cub Scouts in mind.
Joey and Cub Scout Adventure Day:
This activity will be held at Boneo Discovery Park and is designed specifically for Stage 1 skills, particularly in the Vertical Stream. The youth will have the opportunity to complete "I" statements about wearing harnesses and helmets for vertical activities while participating in climbing and zip-lining activities. There is even a rock wall available. Additionally, the park offers self guided walks, mazes, and nature-based activities, which could help with some Stage 1 Campcraft statements.
CDS Explorer:
Based on looking at one of the CDS Plants operations and some environmental sustainability focused activities.
Hit the Seas (ALLOCATION EXHAUSTED):
Involves Stand Up Paddle Boarding/SUPs and Sailing.
First Aid
Need your HLTAID011 Certification for any OAS Stage 5?
Boost has you covered! Camp with your Unit and complete the First Aid course on Boost! We also offer the option just to complete your CPR too!
Mountain Biking
Pedal your way to excitement at Boost! Join us on a thrilling Stage 4-5 offsite mountain biking courses. Get ready to conquer new trails, feel the wind in your hair, and boost your cycling skills!

Citizens of Panem!
It is the time of the Reaping, where our lucky tributes will have the honour of competing for
the honour, riches and status of victory in this - the 76th Hunger Games.
Tributes will be put into teams before undergoing an intensive training regime to teach
them the skills that will be essential to ensuring their survival. They’ll learn, amongst other
skills, how to make an improvised shelter, light a fire, make water safe to drink and hunt for food before stepping into the Arena.
In the Arena they’ll face a series of challenges. Only the highest levels of teamwork,
endurance and initiative will be enough to secure victory. Under the watchful eyes of the
Gamemaker’s, the tributes will move from one Hunger Games-inspired task to another.
Victory will not come easily! May the odds be ever in your favour.

Unleash your inner pioneer at Boost! Build incredible structures with the State Pioneering Team, progressing through multiple OAS levels. Aim true with archery, test your ax-throwing skills, and conquer the thrilling Bay Park Ninja Course!
