Signing In

  • Each Unit/campsite should allocate a Unit Leader Youth to sign their Patrol/Unit in at Admin

  • All Unit Leaders both adult and youth are to attend a briefing meeting on Friday night at the Campfire Circle at 8:30pm sharp

Signing Out

All camp members will be signed off camp at the conclusion of the final parade. Therefore, you do not need to sign out at Admin unless you are leaving before 2pm.

Anyone leaving site prior to closing parade MUST sign out at admin prior to departure.

Leader Allocation
Thank you for ensuring that all our youth members have an incredible weekend at Boost. For the leaders assigned to an activity please plan to arrive at your designated activity location 20 minutes ahead of the scheduled start time, unless you have already been contacted by the activity team and alternate arrangements have been made. For those whose activities are off-site, please ensure that you are on the bus as scheduled. Your commitment and support are truly appreciated as we make this camp an unforgettable experience for our youth members.

Youth Activity Programs
All Group Leaders will be sent the youth members programs for the weekend. If your Group Leader doesn't receive the program prior to October 14 please let our team know at admin@boostyouradventure.com.au

Parking and Vehicle Guidelines
  • Cars staying on site must be parked in designated carparks by 11pm to avoid being towed by Police Scouters. Trailers can remain on-site if they are safely parked.

Lanyards
  • For security purposes, it is mandatory for all attendees to wear their lanyards at all times throughout the camp. If, for any reason, you or someone in your Unit misplaces their lanyard, please promptly proceed to administration at the Environment Centre for assistance.

Campfires and Fire Safety
  • Campfires are permitted, but you must bring a fire drum. Fires are not allowed to be lit on the ground.

  • Additionally, each campfire must have two methods of extinguishing e.g. an extinguisher and a sand bucket.

Code of Conduct
Please see our camp Code of Conduct here please make sure you are familiar with it. All adults are of course to adhere to the Scouts Victoria Adult Code of Conduct.

First Aid and Operoo
  • If any of your youth have anaphylaxis, please ensure they have at least two pens

  • While we're seeing more sunshine currently, we're also seeing an increase in asthma symptoms! The dry, dusty weather at Bay Park, combined with nature and the outdoors can have an impact. Please double check and update your Operoo to ensure that we have the most accurate information.

  • Asthma action plans should also be updated, and please make sure you have plenty of in-date medication to support any medical conditions. Including a spacer and Ventolin.
